Today has been an intense day at the Cinder Project. We started the day with staff prayer where we delved into scripture to encourage us in the tasks at hand and prepare us for the day. It is amazing how the Lord can prepare your heart and strengthen you before situations take place.
We had a series of parent and student situations take place today. We had two moms ask for prayer, simply said "things are tough". It is really exciting to see People recognize us as a place to be ministered to. It is what we are here for. We prayed, offered hope through Christ, and encouraged through His spirit. Tomorrow a student parent conference to offer guidance in through some tough times.
Not only that, but we have seen some serious student growth take place. We have a recent student find a true hunger for scripture and the Lord. It has been a true blessing to offer guidance in the word and the new things world of a life with Christ.
The stories continue. One day at a time. God is moving.
